Why I Do This

Because buying beer at the store is too easy and too predictable. I wanted the thrill of spending 8 hours making something that might taste like beer, or might taste like regret. It's basically gambling, but I get to drink the results either way. Also, saying "I brew my own beer" at parties sounds way cooler than it actually is.
